Use of data from Google APIs complies with Politique de confidentialité des données des utilisateurs des services Google API, including Limited Use requirements. Tale does not share this data with third parties. Tale uses this data (recently watched videos, subscriptions, likes, comments) to allocate points. You may stop data collection via the app or by emailing contact@tale.fan.

Expo-Collected Data:
By default, Expo applications check for the most recent versions of your published JavaScript. They may also download this JS and other resources, such as icons required by your application. These are standard HTTPS requests sent to Expo servers (hosted on Google Cloud in the United States) and to CDN servers (hosted on AWS worldwide).

HTTPS requests include the device's IP address, locale settings, and browser information, along with basic device details such as device type and operating system. Request headers sent to Expo servers are logged for 30 days. This helps Expo with operational tasks and general debugging, and is not used for other purposes such as advertising.Currently, Expo does not log requests on the server, but the server processes the data in the same way Expo would.

Similarly, when an Expo app registers for a Push Expo token (for push notifications) or uses the AuthSession API, the app sends a basic HTTPS request to Expo servers, which is treated in the same way. These services require HTTPS requests to function, and you can choose not to use them in your app.

Expo’s push notification service does not use or store the content of push notifications longer than necessary to transmit them to Apple or Google. The response from Apple or Google containing only success or error data and not the content of the notification is retained for a short period so developers can know whether their notifications were delivered.

In summary, Expo apps use HTTPS to check for JS updates and call other server-based APIs (online utilities). Expo retains basic NGINX logs for one month (related to app incidents, not including any data entered in the app or stored on your phone).

Data Retention Period

Tale retains your data only as long as necessary and proportionate to the intended purpose.
